Bean & Barrel's 'Save the Fox' Event Registers 44 New Donors, Raises

Superior Court Judge Carl Fox was diagnosed with blood cancer earlier this year and is currently undergoing treatments. He is also in need of a bone marrow tranfusion, but no match has been found for him as of yet. To support Judge Fox's search for a donor match and to help raise awareness about blood cancers, Bean & Barrel held a special donor registration event.

Many members of the local community came to Governors Village on Tuesday July 7 for Bean & Barrel's 'Save the Fox' bone marrow donor registration drive. Attendees were treated to a free buffet filled with items from the soon to be released menu and were encouraged to register as potential bone marrow donors or to donate to DeleteBloodCancer.org.

A total of 44 new donors were registered and over $3000 was raised thanks for gifts from attendees and donations from Governors Club Realty, Bold Construction, and Domicile Realty.
