All of us in Governors Village hope that each and every one of you have a truly wonderful Thanksgiving this Thursday, November 28th. And we all know what comes after Thanksgiving... Black Friday. But have you heard about the new and quickly growing movement on the Saturday after Thanksgiving called Small Business Saturday? Founded just three years ago, Small Business Saturday is a chance to show your support for the local businesses in your area for those who put so much into what they do and to help make your community great. It is said that when you shop small at independent, locally owned stores, 52% of the money spent stays right in your community, supporting local organizations and services. So remember to shop small on Saturday, November 30th... starting right here in Governors Village!
